To broaden the student's perspective and enhance their understanding of the current economic and management problems, many well-known academicians/professors and CEOs have been invited to deliver lectures on the campus.

In 2002,Prof. James M. Tien, member of the National Academy of Engineering, USA, Prof.Zhongtuo Wang and Prof. Jingwen Li, members of Chinese Academy of engineering , Prof. Gang Yu,School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, USA, and a number of other internationally well known scholars gave their lectures and were extremely well received.

On the other hand, to provide students opportunities to appreciate the practical issues on how to run a business operation, the School had also invited some famous CEOs such as Dr.J. Carl Hsu, President of Bell Labs of Asia Pacific and China, and Mr.Daolin Mao, the new CEO of sina.com to talk to students on the development of IT industry, market intelligence and business management.
